Happy New Year

Princess Roxy made it five winners for the yard in December when taking the Mares’ Handicap Chase at Fakenham under Harry Bannister. I was delighted for her owners as they have been extremely patient with her, it was also their first winner under rules as owners. Roxy may head back to Fakenham on the 4th January for another mares’ chase.

Norvics Reflection was our next runner at Huntingdon in the NH Flat race, he ran well under Kielan Woods to finish 6th.

Coded Message and Midnightreflection both ran great races in the Class 2 Mares’ Handicap Hurdle at Kempton. Coded Message won the race last year but had gone up 12lbs since then and was reverting back to hurdles following some unlucky runs over fences, it was great to get her season back on track with a fine run to finish 3rd under Charlie Case taking 7lbs off her back. Midnightreflection also ran a good race to finish 4th under Jack Tudor, just getting tired in the ground conditions. They have both come out of their races well.

With Uttoxeter abandoned we have now had our final runners for 2020. With the New Year we are delighted to welcome a new yard sponsor in David Andrews Construction Ltd. I would like to thank Barcham Trees Plc for their fantastic support over the past 10 years which we are very grateful for.

I would like to thank our amazing team and our fantastic owners for their continued support this year in what has been quite a challenging one for everybody. Wishing everyone a very Happy New Year and lets hope we can all get back to the racecourse and some sort of normality in 2021.
