End of Season 2022/2023

We have come to the end of the 2022/2023 Season and we finished up with 10 winners, 18 seconds, 11 thirds and 14 fourths, with well over half our runners being placed and earning all important prize money.

A huge thank you must go to our amazing owners who have been so supportive and loyal throughout the year and of course our team of staff at home deserve a big thank you for all their hardwork and dedication - getting the horses to the races would not be possible without them - so thank you team for your tremendous hard work.

Thank you also to the jockeys who have ridden for us throughout the year with Harry Bannister and Jack Quinlan riding the winners and Charlie Case riding winners in the point-to-point field.

Our team of horses winning this season were Bashers Reflection with 3 wins, coming at Warwick, Fakenham and Plumpton for Jack Quinlan and Harry Bannister. Basher looks to have a great future and one to look forward to for the coming season.

Belles Benefit won well on debut for the yard under Harry Bannister at Fontwell for owners Alex and Michelle Harvey having been purchased at Doncaster sales as a fun summer horse.

Fern Hill is a lovely horse and he provided us with another win at Uttoxeter under Jack Quinlan.

Midnightreflection also secured a win, having been on the sidelines it was great to see her bounce back for the Case Racing Partnership and Anita Lush under a great ride from Harry Bannister at Doncaster.

Conceroe provided the newly formed Fakenham Race Club with a win on home soil under Jack Quinlan.

Dash of Blue defied his 634 days off the track to win well at Southwell under Jack Quinlan for the Bluebuyu Partnership..

Annie Day made it a winning start first time out for the yard at Fontwell under Jack Quinlan for members of the BDR Syndicate.

Jack Doyen received a great reception for his local owners at Warwick when winning under Jack Quinlan for the Wardington Hopefuls.

Kilbrew Boy provided us with a win at Horseheath point-to-point under Charlie Case, he also had two 2nds during the season.

We will be quiet on the runners front through the summer months with most of the horses enjoying a well deserved holiday while we clean up the yard, prepare horses for the sales and break-in the new recruits.

Here’s to a successful 2023/2024 season.
