End Of Season 2021-22

We enjoyed a good season with 10 winners from 82 runners (19 individual horses) at a strike rate of 12%.  With 13 seconds, 7 thirds and 13 fourths gaining a total of £175,068 in prize money with over 50% of our runners finishing in the first 4 winning all important prize money.

The highlight of the season was our stable star Cobblers Dream, owned by Lady Jane Grosvenor, winning 3 times including landing the Coral Lanzarote handicap hurdle (Listed) race at Kempton under Jack Quinlan. He also had two 2nds one of which was a fantastic run in the Martin Pipe Conditional Jockeys handicap hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival under Jack Andrews.  He is now enjoying a well-deserved holiday and we look forward to him going novice chasing.

Felton Bellevue found his feet over fences winning twice and finishing 2nd three times from his 5 runs this season – a pretty good strike rate!  He is also having a well-deserved holiday and look forward to him continuing his chasing career next season.

Gazette Bourgeoise was also a model of consistency winning twice, and being placed on all her 7 runs this season - just a bit unlucky to miss out on black type in two Listed runs but another fine season for her.  She will also go chasing next season.

A win each for The Golden Rebel, Conceroe and Wisecracker.

A huge thank you to our wonderful owners, our fantastic hard working team at home led by Head Lad Joe, Lauren, Ollie, George, Jaymee and Charlie and our brilliant team on the ground, Olivia, Paul and Dave.  Also, a big thank you to our Jockeys, we couldn’t do it without you all.

We will be pretty quiet on the runners front through the summer but there is lots to look forward to for the coming season with some lovely young horses and a few new faces too.

The Golden Rebel is likely to be our first runner of the new season so fingers crossed he can continue the good run.
