Cheltenham Festival 2nd

Cobblers Dream put up a mighty performance in the Martin Pipe Conditional Jockeys Handicap Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival to finish 2nd under a fantastic ride from Jack Andrews. The partnership did well to avoid two fallers and a loose horse on the run in to be beaten by a length. Very exciting to have another lovely prospect for owner Lady Jane Grosvenor. His next options are either Aintree or Punchestown but lots to look forward to for next season when he will go chasing.

Conceroe and Bashers Reflection both ran up at Doncaster, Conceroe finished 6th in what turned out to be a 3 mile flat race with most of the hurdles omitted due to the low sun which really didn’t suit him and Bashers Reflection ran another good race in the bumper to finish 4th under Bryan Carver.

Trouville Lady ran at Kempton and was a little disappointing on her first start over hurdles, she finished 6th but will now have a holiday followed by a wind op.

Fern Hill put up another great performance under Jack Quinlan to finish 2nd at Wetherby in the 3 mile Novices’ Limited Handicap Chase.

Felton Bellevue made the trip to Huntingdon on Tuesday but did not run due to the ground changing. He has options at Hereford next week.

Dorado Dollar finished 7th at Chepstow which was a pleasing run under Lily Pinchin having jumped well.

Entries for the coming week include Celestial Park who is due to make her racecourse debut in a Mares’ bumper at Uttoxeter and Kilbrew Boy at Wetherby.
