Doncaster Double

All the team had been running well throughout November and December but had been hitting the crossbar. That all changed on Friday when we had a quickfire double at Doncaster with The Golden Rebel and Cobblers Dream, both ridden by Jack Andrews who then went on to ride a treble having only just turned Conditional the week before, a great start to his professional career and a good day for all at Wardington Gate Farm.

The Golden Rebel had been 2nd on his last outing at Fakenham and it was great to get his head in front again for his owners The Golden Rebels, making it 2 wins from 2 runs at Doncaster, having now won over hurdles and fences at the track.

Cobblers Dream followed up his good 2nd at Wetherby to complete the double at Doncaster, he is a lovely addition to the team having won twice and been placed on his two other outings since joining us.

Fern Hill made a very promising start to his chasing career to finish 2nd at Uttoxeter only beaten a neck, he jumped fantastically throughout under Jack Quinlan and his owners have lots to look forward to.

Conceroe made the trip to Kelso worthwhile when finishing 3rd on his hurdles debut although the ground was not ideal having had snow and rain the night before which was not forecast! He has entries at Fakenham and Plumpton next week.

Felton Bellevue has run well on his last two starts over fences finishing 2nd on both occassions, at Hereford and Market Rasen so fingers crossed for a win next time!

Kilbrew Boy tried hard to get the hatrick of wins in the Amateur race at Wincanton, having won the race for the last two years but the ground was on the quick side for him and he finished 4th, not disgraced and will now step up in trip for his next outing.

Coded Message ran well on her seasonal reappearance to finish 4th at Ascot and will now head to Kempton on the 27th December.

Gazette Bourgeoise ran another fantastic race to finish 2nd at Exeter and is declared to run at Uttoxeter tomorrow.

Midnightreflection also put in a great run on her seasonal return to finish 3rd at Kempton in a very competitive race. Unfortunately she fell at the last hurdle at Cheltenham on Saturday having put in a great performance. Thankfully she seems to be all ok other than a bit stiff and sore, which is to be expected.

Entries for this weekend and next week include Shanty Alley, Conceroe and Trouville Lady.

Fingers crossed for some more winners!
