Kings Temptation gets the treble

Kings Temptation made it 3 wins in a row. It was a bold, front running performance under Bryan Carver at Uttoxeter in the 3 mile 2 handicap chase. He put in a fantastic display of jumping and made all to win well. I was delighted for his very loyal owner, Lady Jane Grosvenor. He is now a winner of 6 races.

Wisecracker also continues to run well having finished 2nd under Bryony Frost at Southwell, it was great to get his confidence back after a nasty incident at Fontwell on his previous start when being brought down. He has not been out of the first three all summer and he will continue to run until the winter ground arrives.

Our other runners have all made promising starts on their first run of the season with Dorado Dollar a running on 4th at Southwell under Kielan Woods, he will now head to Warwick on Monday 21st September. Kilbrew Boy also ran well to finish 4th at Fontwell under Kielan and Silent Encore finished 6th at Uttoxter under Ciaran Gethings, he ran on well at the end over a trip too short for him and he will head to Huntingdon at the end of the month and should improve for the run.

We couldn’t not mention Croco Bay who we very sadly lost in August when racing at Southwell. We have been completely overwhelmed by the number of messages and thank you to everyone who has been in touch. He was a complete superstar for the yard leaving us with many happy memories and of course not forgetting giving us, Lady Jane Grosvenor and Kielan Woods our first Cheltenham Festival winner. He will be greatly missed as he was such a character but he will certainly never be forgotten.
