A 1-2-3 Last Week

The horses continue to run well with our last three runners finishing 1st, 2nd and 3rd.

CONCEROE made a very promising racecourse debut to win the competitive NH Bumper at Warwick under Bryan Carver for owner Lady Jane Grosvenor. He ran a little ‘green’ in the closing stages of the race but he will have learn’t a lot from his first racecourse experience. It was great to repay the faith that Lady Jane has in him as he was purchased as a foal but didn’t reach his reserve price when going back to the sales as a store, so we decided to keep him and I am delighted we did!

MIDNIGHTREFLECTION also ran with credit on her seasonal debut to finish 3rd at Warwick also under Bryan Carver for the Case Racing Partnership and Anita Lush, she gave the partnership a lot of fun last season and looks to have improved again this time.

SILENT ENCORE ran a great race at Huntingdon to finish 2nd, very frustrating for his owners the North and South Racing Partnership as he has now finished 2nd on his last two runs at Huntingdon and is looking for the elusive win. He jumped and travelled brilliantly up front all the way for Kielan Woods only to get caught on the line. He will be back out again soon.

Now the rain has arrived we will have a few more runners with Kilbrew Boy, Dash of Blue and Fern Hill holding entries next week.
