Fern Hill gets back to winning ways at Uttoxeter

It was great to get Fern Hill’s head back in front again when winning the 3 mile handicap chase at Uttoxeter on Friday. Jack Quinlan got him into a great rhythm and he jumped well throughout. This was his 4th career win, with two of these coming at Uttoxeter, a track he clearly enjoys. He had run well all last season being placed on several occasions without getting a win. Delighted for his owners John and Sue Harrison and for the team at home as he is a real yard favourite.

Nickelforce put in another gallant performance in the feature handicap chase at Market Rasen to finish 2nd under Jack Quinlan. We will see what the weather brings before deciding if he has another run or if he takes a short winter break.
